The main water is Hales Hall Lake on Oakamoor Road, Cheadle. This lake is over 4 acres in size and boasts large stocks of bream, tench, roach, perch, crucian carp, rudd, and specimen pike. Fishing is available all year round with no closed season. The lake is on a local authority nature reserve with an interesting collection of plantlife and wildlife. Hales Hall Caravan site is next door The club also boasts 2 superb specimen waters on secluded rural farmland, Shawe Park Pools. These pools contain most coarse species including carp up to around 6lb, tench, bream, roach and perch Mark Shaw of Cheadle Angling Club stated that this is the first time the Angling Club have offered half price permits, it is something that other clubs in the area do and Cheadle Angling Club have followed suit. When considering they have Hales Hall pool and 2 Pools at Shawe Park this is excellent value for money Senior Permits £25 Junior/OAP/Disabled £15 A limited number of Day Tickets are also available but must be pre-purchased priced £5/£2.50 concessions NO TICKETS ARE SOLD ON THE BANK.
